Wolverine Lifetime Warranty
Wolverine Vinyl Siding warrants its solid vinyl siding to be free from manufacturing defects, including, when subject to normal and proper use, peeling, flaking, blistering and corroding. Should any such defect occur during the lifetime of the original purchaser and as long as the original purchaser is still living and retains ownership of the property, Wolverine will repair, restore, replace, or coat (apply a special coating), at its option, the vinyl siding determined to be defective, at no cost to the owner, provided, however, in lieu of repair, restoration, replacement, or coating, Wolverine at its sole discretion reserves the right to refund that amount paid by the original owner for the vinyl siding and accessories plus the cost to the original owner of its initial installation.
The siding is not warranted against
discoloration or other damage caused by air pollution (including, but not
limited to metallic oxides or metallic particles), mildew, exposure to harmful
chemicals, or normal weathering resulting from exposure to the elements.
To obtain performance under this
warranty, the homeowner/consumer shall notify Wolverine in writing of any
manufacturing defect (or hail damage) promptly following its discovery, and
shall submit with such notification proof of date of purchase and installation,
and proof of property ownership, in order to provide Wolverine an opportunity to
investigate the claim and examine the material claimed to be defective. All

Upon receiving notification, Wolverine may request and require additional information or samples in order to properly complete its investigation of the claimed defect before any repair, restoration, replacement, or coating is approved. Wolverine shall, within a reasonable time after approval, select at its sole discretion one of the options noted in the first paragraph of this page and shall otherwise comply with the terms of this warranty.
Wolverine Care And Maintenance Instructions
Normal Maintenance
1. Get an ordinary, long-handled car washing brush at your auto supply store, or a hand brush with medium bristles.
2. Wash the siding using the following solution:
1/3 cup detergent (e.g. Tide or equivalent)
2/3 cup Trisodium Phosphate (e.g. Soilax, Spic & Span or equivalent)
4 quarts water
CAUTION: Greater concentrations may cause damage to the siding.
Mildew
Mildew may be a problem in some areas. It appears as black or gray spots on the surface of the vinyl and is usually first detected in areas not subjected to rainfall, such as under eaves and porch enclosures. For removal, use the solution previously mentioned, but substitute 1 quart 5% Sodium Hypochlorite (e.g. Clorox or equivalent) for 1 quart of water.
Stubborn Stains
If especially stubborn stains cannot be removed with normal household detergents, request a cleaner from your siding contractor. However, remember, always test any cleaner on an inconspicuous area before full use.
